Master of Health Administration (MHA) Details
SHM offers an online Master of Health Administration (MHA) program that prepares you for leadership in the healthcare field. The MHA program is a 15-course, 60-credit-hour program tailored to healthcare leaders and managers. Coursework focuses on leadership, law and ethics, information systems, managerial epidemiology, and human resource management.

Master of Geriatric Health (MGH) Details
The number of people 65 years and older (currently about 34.7 million) will double during the next 30 years, and the number of Americans aged 80 and older is expected to rise from 9.2 million today to 31.6 million by the year 2050. Professional opportunities for MGH graduates are numerous and varied.
Geriatric healthcare is one of the fastest growing specialties in medicine, and SHM is one of few schools to offer an online master's degree in geriatric health. This 60-credit-hour, 15-course program is highly selective, and only eight seats are available bi-annually.

Master of Public Health (MPH) Details
SHM's online Master of Public Health (MPH) program prepares you for leadership in the field. A 15-course, 60-credit-hour program, you may choose a concentration best fitting your interests: health planning, health policy, and environmental health. General areas of focus are epidemiology, education, administration, ethics, and financial management. A dental MPH track is also available.

Master of Public Health - Dental Emphasis (MPH - Dental) Details
SHM's online Master of Public Health - Dental Emphasis (MPH) program is for anyone working in the dental field who wants to learn more about the public health components of dentistry. This program prepares you for a career in dental public health services and administration. After completing 12 courses in certificate and core areas, you will take three additional courses in one of three tracts: leadership and administration, education, or research.

Master of Health Education (MHEd) Details
SHM's online Master of Health Education (MHEd) program prepares you for leadership in health education based on a systematic learning theory to plan, design, implement, and evaluate effective program and course offerings with in-depth pedagogical training. A 15-course, 60-credit-hour program, the MHEd offers five areas of concentration: leadership, research, teaching, medical education, and a customized track. Note: This program is not intended to meet state certification requirements to become an elementary or secondary teacher. A four-day residency on ATSU's Kirksville, MO., campus is required at the program's completion.

Doctor of Health Education (DHEd) Details
SHM's online Doctor of Health Education (DHEd) program challenges you to examine the current state of healthcare education and your roles and responsibilities within it. The DHEd is a 20-course, 94-credit-hour program and includes a required applied dissertation. Graduates are recognized as innovative leaders in educating their patients, students, and peers, and achieve excellence in policy development, program design, management, implementation, and evaluation of local issues.
